I started in the appliance repair business for many reasons, here are some of them:
I realized that companies in the industry would make customers wait a week to 10 days just to come out for diagnostics. I thought that was unacceptable.
Scheduling a service call 7 to 10 days later is a bad business. The issue was a lot of these small companies were solo operations, just one man with a truck or van doing all his calls himself and could not handle more than 5 or 6 calls a day max provided the calls are in the same area. He would make customers wait until he has other calls in their area to come out to them.
Sometimes an appliance repair tech would schedule a call the next day but can’t keep up the appointment. It s either he shows up so late or does not show up at all.
Another issue is these companies do not pre-order parts. They wait until they diagnose the machine and then they would order the part which may take 2 days to a week or more to arrive.
Another issue with the industry is some of the technicians do not have the expertise to work on newer models because they lack the electronics background necessary to troubleshoot the new machines. They were not trained to handle newer models with sophisticated electronics components.
My mission was to have enough help to allow for same day service and to hire technicians who have experience with newer appliances, and it worked. We not only do same day service but now cover a much bigger territory than we when we first started.

Do I need to pay extra if a second visit is needed?
No, you only pay for the cost of the repair. If the technician does not have the part, he will get the part from the parts store and come back that same day or next day to finish the job as long as the part is available that day. If your part is not available locally, we make every attempt to secure the part from out of state or out of the country wherever we have to get it from.
What type of payments do you take?
We accept all major credit cards, Checks, Zelle or Venmo.
Do you offer same day service in Mount Prospect?
Yes, we do same day service as long as the call comes before 2pm on a weekday. We can perform a diagnostic on the same day and if the part is available, we will repair the appliance instantly.
If your part is available at the parts store we will get the part and come back on the same day and finish the job.
However, if the part is a special-order part, we have no choice but to order the part and wait for it to arrive before we can schedule a second visit to complete the job. You may have to pay for the part upfront and you will pay for the labor when the job is completed.
