LG Dishwasher Repair Estimates
How accurate are online appliance repair estimates?
LG Dishwasher Repair Estimates: It’s difficult to determine the exact cost of an appliance repair without a full diagnostic inspection. Here’s why:Scheduling the Service Call
You can call us or book your service call online. The information we need is as follows:
Appliance type and make (e.g., Samsung refrigerator, LG washer)
Model & serial number (usually inside the door or back panel)
Symptoms of the problem (e.g. “not cooling,” “leaking water”, ” washer not draining”)
Service call / Diagnostic Fee / Trip Charge? A trip fee ($99) which in is waived if you do the repairs.
Technician Dispatch & Arrival
ETA: Most companies will give you a date and time and a 2 to 4-hour window (e.g., “between 1 PM and 5 PM”). In our case it is the same day or next day depending on when the calls come in and the volume for that day.
Technician may call or text you on his way just to make sure you will be home by the time he arrives.
On-Site Diagnosis
Technicians will check the power supply, error codes, and visible damage.
Technician will run diagnostic tests (e.g., multimeter for electrical issues).
Estimate:
Tech will explain the issue and give you an estimate (parts + labor) and timeframe.
Approval & Repair
You accept the repair cost, and the technician will proceed with the repairs.
You decline the repair, and you pay the diagnostic fee.
If the repair does not need a part or the part is available on the truck or van, the repairs are done on the spot.
If the repairs require ordering parts, a follow-up visit is needed, and the tech will come back as soon as he picks up the part from the supply house.
If the part is not available locally or it is on back order, technician will come back as soon as the part is here.
